The therapy relationship is collaborate and goal orientated, and the focus on thoughts,beliefs, assumptions and behaviours is key in CBT.

The goal is for you as a person to develop more realistic and rational perspectives, and make healthier behavioural choices. Specific techniques, strategies, and methods are used to help you to focus ad achieve the goals they have identified.

CBTCBT aims to stop negative cycles that can affect how you feel both physically and emotionally, and create changes that can help you deal with them in a positive way to improve the way you feel and take action to make the positive changes you wish to focus on. CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle.

What is Mindfulness ?

Mindfulness is a very simple concept and means paying attention in a prticular way , in the present moment and is a technique used worldwide to help people cope with stress, pain, anxieties, and illness.
