The Immune System – Our 1st line of Defence
Our immune system is a complex network of cells,tissues, and organs – it is our defence mechanism against foreign invaders, parasites, bacteria

To improve odds of beating COVID – 19, should we become infected, I have put together some key steps to maximise your health now before you get sick.
Eat up to 600 grammes of antioxidant foods ( listed in my previous blog) a day and as much organic and in season as possible
Eat a healthy diet
Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated – approx 2 litres a day
Have a good exercise regime that includes some cardio. Where possible walk a mile a day and there are plenty of you tube videos for a variety of exercises, you can use to get some inspiration.
Get a solid 8 hours of sleep
Take a slow release of 500 grammes of Vitamin C daily as it is a good antioxidant – and a water soluble vitamin that your body will absorb and will dispose of what it doesnt need( check with your GP to ensure it does not conflict with any ailments such as kidney stones or heart issues)
If you are on medication for Blood pressure /Diabetes – do the necessary checks daily to keep it under control.
Stay safe and communicate with friends and family – even if you are self isolating, we have the technology to remain connected.
